Lauren Love Pieczykolan joined ResDAC in November of 2023. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Public Health in Behavioral Sciences from Emory University. Her previous work experiences include HIV, overdose, and substance use surveillance efforts.
Eric Charles joined ResDAC in November 2023. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He has been working at the University of Minnesota since 2017 as a research professional and coordinator on various NIH funded grants. During this time, he has worked with the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research, Institute of Child Development, Department of Psychology, and most recently the Division of Epidemiology and Community Health.
CMS is pleased to announce that updated and preliminary Medicaid T-MSIS Analytic Files (TAFs) for service years 2021 and 2022, respectively, are now available. The TAF research files* contain data on Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) beneficiary demographics, program enrollment, service use, and payments. They are designed to meet the diverse research needs of the Medicaid and CHIP data user community.
Alice Hu joined ResDAC in November 2023 as the Web Content Generalist. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Haverford College and has done communications work for nonprofits and schools.
Kristina Domm joined ResDAC in November 2023 as a Data Processing Associate. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Metropolitan State University. She has experience processing and releasing medical records, data entry for prior authorization prescription requests, and as a loan documentation processor for home mortgage loans.
Laura Pomeranz joined ResDAC in November 2023 as a Data Processing Associate. She has studied Public Health Education and Promotion through St Catherine University and Rasmussen University. Her previous experience includes elementary education in various capacities.
Lex Grundorf joined ResDAC in November 2023. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida, he worked in office management for a psychological clinic and in administration for facilities operations at the University of Florida. After moving to Minnesota, he supported senior research faculty in the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine at the University of Minnesota.
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) is collected on all Medicare patients who receive services from an inpatient rehabilitation unit or hospital. The data collected for IRF-PAI are used to measure quality of care.
