CMS is pleased to announce the availability of the 2017 Medicare Advantage (Part C) Encounter Data. These files were created from data submitted to CMS by Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAOs) that provide services to beneficiaries under the Medicare Part C benefit.

SPADEs File Now Available

CMS is pleased to announce the availability of Standardized Patient Assessment Data Elements (SPADEs) File. CMS developed these standardized data elements to meet the requirements of the Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation (IMPACT) Act of 2014.

New Medicaid and CHIP Data Now Available

CMS is pleased to announce the availability of the Medicaid T-MSIS Analytic Files (TAFs) for calendar years 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Medicare Advantage (Part C) Encounter Data RIFs Final Version

CMS is pleased to announce the availability of the Final Version of the Medicare Advantage (Part C) Encounter Data RIFs for service year 2015. These files are created from data submitted to CMS by Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAOs) that provide services to beneficiaries under the Medicare Part C benefit.

Medicare Risk Score RIF Data

CMS is pleased to announce the availability of Medicare Risk Score Research Identifiable Files (RIFs) for Payment Year 2014 (PY14). Risk scores are used to adjust payments to Medicare Advantage plans to account for differences in relative costs among plan enrollees.

New Home Health (HH) OASIS LDS File

This file will be released twice a year, to support the proposed and final rule publications for the HH Prospective Payment System. The file includes partitioning 60-day episodes into 30-day periods, as required by section 51001(a) of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018.
