Due to encrypted pharmacy and prescriber identifiers in the PDE data, researchers may require additional information related to the dispensing pharmacy and the prescriber. This presentation reviews the Pharmacy and the Prescriber Characteristics files that are available to link to the PDE data. A brief overview of the sources of the data in each file and key variables in each file are discussed.
