Formulary File with New Indication and PDSS Files

The Medicare Part D Formulary Files contain information on formulary design for each prescription drug, including cost sharing tier placement and utilization management. This presentation reviews the five sub-files contained in the Formulary File: Formulary, Excluded Drug, Over-the-Counter Drug, Indication-based Formulary, and Part D Senior Savings (PDSS) Model. We also cover how the fiels can be linked to the Part D Event (PDE) file and Plan Characteristics file.
