This field is the NDI recode of the ICD-10 Code cause of death into one of 113 categories. The list reflects 113 selected causes of death and enterocolitis due to Clostridium Difficile.
Values: Refer to the CDC's "ICD-10 Cause-of-Death Lists for Tabulating Mortality Statistics."

Researchers wishing to obtain this NDI segment of the MBSF must obtain an additional approval beyond the CMS DUA.
