Tetyana Shippee, PhD, MS

Dr. Tetyana Shippee is a social gerontologist with a Dual-Title PhD in Sociology and Gerontology from Purdue University. Dr. Shippee's substantive areas of expertise pertain to long-term care and disparities in health care. Her most recent work focuses on quality of life in nursing homes and other long-term care settings, and has used the CMS assessment data in the context of her research. She has a strong methodological background in using survey and claims data as well as categorical data analysis, longitudinal analyses, and generalized linear models. She received her Master of Science in Sociology from Purdue University.
