Updated research request forms and data security approval requirement effective 4/24/23
Purpose of this document
Researchers requesting Health and Retirement Survey (HRS) linked to Medicare data are required to obtain approval from both University of Michigan and CMS. Researchers should obtain approval from HRS staff at the University of Michigan before submitting their request packet to ResDAC. An email or PDF approval from HRS staff is acceptable.
