PRIMARY_DISPENSER_TYPE

This variable describes the type of pharmacy that filled the prescription. NCPDP requires all providers to specify a primary dispenser type.

Comments

For each pharmacy, there is information for up to three dispenser types (see SECONDARY_DISPENSER_TYPE and TERTIARY_DISPENSER_TYPE variables).
