The encrypted NCPDP identifier for a business entity that has been reported to serve as the headquarters for chains, buying groups or third party contracting organizations. There may be multiple relationship IDs (variable called RELATIONSHIP_ID) that link to a common parent organization.
Values: 6-digit alpha numeric or null/missing (parent organization n/a)

A single parent organization ID will generally relate to multiple CCW_PHARM_IDs (i.e., multiple pharmacies can have the same parent company).
