For each navigation-eligible beneficiary who opted in for and received navigation services (i.e., nonmissing NC_NVGTN_CASE_ID), this field indicates the date the navigation case was opened. Toward the end of the model, CMS advised bridge organizations to try to provide at least 3 months of navigation to those who opted in for navigation services.
