This field is derived by accumulating the Claim inpatient prospective payment system (IPPS) HRR adjustment amount (previously referred to as the Flex Payment 4 Amount field: CLM_ IPPS_FLEX_PMT_4_AMT) that is present on any of the claim records included in the stay.

This field is new in 2013.
