Days from date admitted to facility to date of death

The count of the number of days from the date the beneficiary was admitted to a facility to the beneficiary's date of death (DOD).

Comments

This field is derived by counting the number of days between the MEDPAR admission date (the admission date present on the first claim record included in the stay) and MEDPAR beneficiary death date (the death date present on the enrollment database.
